Satirical painting by Baloram Debnath during the 7th episode of Uronto residential art exchange program at Shukhair, Sunamganj, BD.

Baloram’s works resemble the narration and interpretation of popular culture in our hypocritical Society; especially in a derision and humorous manner. This work took shape from the experiences while he was interacting with the local community around Shukahir palace. The locals were more than interested to share stories about hidden treasure in the palace and their hypothesis about where and how much is the treasure is hidden.
