Art for Humanity came in conversation with URONTO in Durban. while the conversation, It revealed a lot of common interest and activities in AFH and URONTO. After Farouk from AFH got to know about the previous works of UORNTO, it Instantly became an invitation from Farouk to the curator Sadya Mizan to share her experience with his students in DUT.
“It was the first batch of 2019 in their third-year course. Which is the stage where they have to start planning what they want to do in the professional course ahead. So a little insight about curatorial experiences and challenges were very helpful for them and also the way URONTO works out of conventional bounds and socially inclusive was an encouragement to the students indeed”- says Sadya Mizan.
Students were truly connecting to the objectives of URONTO and got inspired from the conversation. URONTO is very much Thankful to Ismail Farouk for the opportunity, the generosity and faith in us.
