05 Feb Dream House
This work is regarded as ‘Dream House’ because the basic elements (bricks, money, and contacts) required for a dream house has been incorporated in a metaphorical representation. Some old bricks were there of that house. Also, some new bricks were kept beside. So, the artists have tried to depict the scenario as a work of dream house factory. Some of the old bricks are being used along with new ones as well as money to build a new house/palace that is a lifelong dream for many people.
The artists have attached a wooden drawer of the old house in the middle of piled bricks to represent how money is being invested to build a dream house.
The poetry lines in the image above is part of the collaboration between poet Shahriar Shafiq & URONTO.
