30 Mar Curator’s Talk at WITS- Johannesburg

On 11 March 2019 a Presentation of URONTO Residential Art Exchange program and a curators talk took place at the History of Arts department in University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg- Wits. The session was organized by VANSA with WITS. It was followed with a conversation around Documentation through Art, Living Archives, Story-telling through art, curatorial practices, challenges of accessible and efficient art archives etc. The conversation was participated by Sadya Mizan-Founder and curator of URONTO, Khweji gule- Chief Curator of Johannesburg Art Gallery, Ms Nontobeko Ntombela- Lecturer at History of Arts-WITS, Kabelo Malatsie- Director, VANSA . Other than the main speakers the Students of History of Arts department also interacted in the conversation.
