02 Feb Children with us at URONTO

The most obvious part of URONTO Residential Art exchange program is that we always involve local school children with us. From the very first episode till today in all the episodes children has been participating from different schools in the local area where we have worked. Sometimes they painted on the walls sometimes we had a day long sketch workshop with them sometimes a Theatre workshop or may be Kalamkari workshop on cloths too.

We respect and enjoy the limitless imaginations of children and we want to learn from them too, also we want them to learn about new forms of Art through local and international participating artists and thats why we always involve them in the process of art making with us.

We came across many different talented children and we successfully delivered inspiration in them to cherish and preserve the Old heritage buildings of their area through alternative art practices. Below are some moments with the children.
