Uronto Artist Community is offering exciting internship opportunities for individuals eager to contribute to the dynamic field of cultural engagement and artistic development. Join us in our mission to celebrate, preserve, and innovate through art. The following positions are available:
Graphic Designer:
Key responsibility- Make everything we do clearly visible and attractive to everyone.
Other tasks- design development for project campaign, publication design, communication materials, promotional items, and social media content etc.
Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is required with good compositional knowledge and competitive conceptual taste. Additional skills in illustration and animation are highly valued.
Content Developer:
Key responsibility- Tell the right story for everyone to understand what we do and why it is important.
Other Tasks- create content and copy for promotion, outreach, print or digital materials, and communication.
Strong writing skills in both Bengali and English content and communication is needed, along with fair knowledge about the current art practices, are essential. Has to work closely with design and outreach team to achieve final goal.
Researcher Assistant:
Key responsibility- Prepare answers to all possible questions as the foundation of all our work.
Other tasks- Assist on various research projects related to heritage, cultural practices, museum sectors, art practices, and community trends. Prepare data and report on project related field elements and variables.
Proficiency in English and Bengali, a passion for research, and the fitness for field-based tasks is necessary.
Outreach Officer:
Key responsibility- Make sure we reach to the right persons on right time with right things.
Other Tasks- plan and execute outreach campaigns, make strategic plans, initiate new partnerships, update networks, expand community, strengthen solidarity.
Strong communication, documentation, and management skills are required well aligned with dedication and wisdom.
Project Coordinator:
Key responsibility- Keep things running and keep things organized and tidy.
Other Tasks- coordinate between team and activities, supervise workflow, ensure documentation quality, identify gaps and solutions, prepare reports, and locate resources as per need. Manage the communications with local and global partners, report regularly to project director on updates and prepare evaluation report on projects and activities, keep track of all data and resources, track development of activities.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills are essential with proficiency in Bengali and English.
Product Developer:
Key responsibility- Make sure everyone gets to carry a piece of story to cherish in their collection.
Other tasks: Develop and facilitate various art and products connected with themes aligned with our interest area of work, showcasing creative skills under the theme of heritage, history, and cultural narratives, collaborate with wider range of artists and talents.
Strong skill in designing ideas and developing products is necessary.
Internship Details:
Duration: 6 months
Work Type: Remote with regular reporting, desk job (occasionally).
Dedication, passion, and a commitment to contributing to the cultural and artistic landscape of Bangladesh are essential. A professional certificate will be provided on the successful completion of the internship.
